Friends of 10th Street Park
Friends of 10th Street Park is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) status tax exempt organization dedicated to 10th Street Community Park in the Blagden Alley/Naylor Court neighborhood. The Friends work with the neighboring community, the ANC, DC Department of Parks and Recreation to ensure operations of the park. The Friends group fundraises to make improvements, advocate on behalf of the community for the park, help to maintain the site through clean-up and beautification efforts and are engaged in planning or site improvement processes. The Department of Parks and Recreation relies on the Friends to be the eyes and ears at our sites and to report any hazardous conditions, damaged equipment or other needed repairs.
